Notes from the McMichael Band Parent Meeting on Aug 13, 2010

1. Sectionals - will begin on First day of school!
   Start at 3:10, students will be dismissed at 4:00.
   IMPORTANT!: Please have a ride arranged for your child!
   
   
   Monday: Trumpets & Saxophones
   Tuesday: Trombone & Clarinet
   Wednesday: EVERYONE after school until 4:00 THEN French Horn until 4:55 (if needed)
   Thursday: Tuba/Baritone & Flute
   Friday: Percussion
   ****NO MAKEUPS ****
   
   
2. Rehearsal Procedures
   Down beat happens 3 minutes after the tardy bell.
   Studens will be allowed to pack up at least 2 minutes before the end of class bell.
   OUR TIME is VERY important so the students need to be in their seats from the down beat to the end of class, no exceptions. This goes for sectionals as well.
   We want to resolve as many issues "in house" as possible. Expect a phone call if we are having repeat challenges with your child.
   
3. Cost
   Charge accounts for reeds and such
   Repair Bills must be paid (or payment plan arranged) before horn is returned
   McMichael Band Shirts - New black shirts for 2010
   Your share of our contest uniform (Socks and Shoes)
