July - August 2011 Calendar

Our Freshman Rehearsal will begin on Monday Morning - August 1 at 8:30 AM.
Full Band Rehearsal Begins August 4th for ALL NHS BAND MEMBERS!

PUNCTUALITY IS EXPECTED!

Band practice will maintain the same schedule through Friday, August 19th.

You are expected to attend ALL rehearsals. Please let Mr. Wells know BEFORE you must miss any rehearsal due to UNAVOIDABLE CONFLICTS. Taking a summer school class is an example of an acceptable conflict. LAST MINUTE, UNPLANNED SUMMER VACATIONS ARE UNEXCUSED AND ARE DOCUMENTED THAT WAY.

YOU ARE EXPECTED TO ARRANGE WORK SCHEDULES, LESSONS, ETC. SO YOU CAN ATTEND ALL REHEARSALS. THESE ARE UNEXCUSABLE!

Uniforms, Music Folders and School Instruments may be picked up or checked out at the Uniform days noted on the calendar above.

You will NOT be able to pick up your music or check-out an instrument BEFORE or DURING a rehearsal!

You will need your INSTRUMENT, some MARCHING SHOES (old tennis shoes [no sandals]) and your MUSIC at EVERY REHEARSAL. It will be HOT OUTSIDE; BE PREPARED!! Initial seating will be based on your chair in last year's concert bands, but there may be early opportunities for challenges.

Hope it has been a GREAT SUMMER! Let's get ready to continue the WINNING TRADITION! It's UP TO YOU!
